ACL[2]

Agent Collaboration Language

U. S. Army Construction Engineering Research Laboratories

ACL is part of the Federation Architecture, a system to allow remote collaboration in the architectural design, engineering and construction of buildings and other facilities. It is based on the concept of Software Agents. Engineering software applications communicate using ACL via task-independent programs called Facilitators. Applications are adapted to the system through task-independent APIs. ACL itself is a message-based language that combines KIF and communication support based on KQML.
